Early Learning Center Staff

The Early Learning Center (ELC) at First United Methodist Church is a Virginia licensed religious exempt facility open weekdays from 7:00 AM through 5:30 PM. Ages of enrollment are 6 weeks to age 9.

The ELC employs teachers who have a degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as aides with one of the certificates in Early Childhood Education. The ELC offers part-time and full-time positions. A criminal record check through the state of Virginia and a fingerprint check are required prior to hiring.

Knowledge of children's Bible stories is a plus. Applicants must be able to teach a Christian curriculum.
